Tux

Meet Tux, a young, smart, and energetic pup who's ready to find his forever home! Tux is a striking fellow with a heart full of curiosity and a desire to be by your side. He loves active play, learning new things, and exploring the world on walks. When it's time to relax, Tux is a world-class snuggler, often found making himself comfortable on the couch or bed. He's a handler-oriented dog who truly wants to connect and be part of your adventures. A trainer who has worked with him sees a lot of potential and heart in Tux, especially with continued structure and consistency.

Ideal Home

Tux would do best as an only pet, as he is still learning to read social cues from other dogs and can escalate when corrected. He also isn't a fan of being left alone for too long or confined for extended periods, although he does settle with time.

Ongoing Health

Tux completed a two-week board and train program and is trained on an E-collar. His future adopter will receive free follow-up training from the same academy.

Training & Support

Tux is still learning that hands aren't chew toys, so he needs supervision and redirection during play. Loud or sudden interactions with new people can make him a little skittish, but he's showing great improvement in focusing back on his handler.
