Kobe Lakers is a playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly 4-month-old puppy, weighing around 23 pounds. We believe he may be a Pit Bull / Staffordshire Terrier mix. Kobe loves to play with his siblings and take frequent naps, enjoying the classic puppy routine of eating, sleeping, and playing. He is one of the most desperately in-need puppies due to the high euthanasia rates in his area of origin, and choosing him will save his life as well as the life of another animal in need.
Ideal Home
Kobe will thrive in a home that can commit to the dedication puppyhood requires, including training, socialization, and establishing routine, structure, and boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Kobe is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Kobe is still very young and needs a family committed to his training and socialization. We require adoptive families to crate train their new puppy immediately upon arrival to assist with potty training, energy management, and overall development. Our organization assesses every animal with trainers on staff, modifies behavior as needed, and creates individualized behavior plans, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking.
