Walter Wigglebutt

Meet Walter Wigglebutt! This resilient boy, about 6 years old and weighing a loving 60 lbs, was rescued in January from a tough situation. Once quite underweight, Walter has bounced back beautifully, proving that a difficult past doesn't define your future. He's currently navigating heartworm positive, has significant vision loss (about 80%), and is bravely facing cancer, but his spirit is absolutely undimmed! Walter loves adventures, even exploring the Rocky Mountains, and is equally happy just relaxing by your side. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and is potty trained.

Ideal Home

Walter is looking for a safe and loving home. He is dog-friendly and would do well with a patient and tolerant canine companion who understands he might miss social cues due to his vision loss. He needs a cat-free home, and all humans in the household must be 13 years or older.

Ongoing Health

Walter is currently heartworm positive and is bravely battling cancer. He also has significant vision loss.

Training & Support

Walter is potty trained. Due to his vision loss, he may sometimes miss social cues, so a patient home is key.
