Lady Bug is a charming, approximately 2-year-old mystery mix with a flair for the dramatic and a heart full of love! She's been with us since May 2025, and in that time, we've learned all about her adorable quirks. Lady Bug loves to curl up in the most unusual places, often resembling a perfect little donut on the tiniest of chairs. She's a true enthusiast of outdoor fun, delighting in rolling in grass, sand, or anything that allows her to embrace her playful, messy side. Her zoomies are legendary when she gets her paws on her favorite toys, especially stuffies and rope toys. While she's a social butterfly with humans and dogs, she has a playful notion that cats are just another kind of chew toy, so she'd be happiest in a home without them or other small creatures. She also has a habit of chewing on things, which might just make brushing her teeth a breeze!
Lady Bug is a goofy and unique girl, but she's also still navigating her way as a young dog in a shelter environment. She can be a bit nervous and scared when meeting new people and might bark initially. However, a few well-placed treats will speed up the friendship-making process considerably! She needs a patient and understanding adopter who recognizes that she'll need some time to warm up.
