JR

JR is a bundle of cuddles and affection. He loves to be near his people and would rather not be bothered with less exciting things like chores or work. He is in search of the perfect lap to lay on while a good movie plays in the background. If it was up to JR, he would sit on your lap and not move a muscle for hours on end. He does well with other dogs but would also enjoy being the center of attention. JR was rescued from a local shelter after he was surrendered due to his owner passing away. He had a perineal hernia on his right side that was repaired in April and went back to surgery in early June for a similar surgery on the left side. Today he is all healed, recovered, and ready to enjoy life. If you are looking for a shadow and long cuddle sessions, then JR is perfect for you! Bonus: he is housebroken and crate trained. And he actually likes his cat friends!

Ideal Home

JR would love a home where he can be the center of attention and isn't left alone for too long, as he enjoys being near his people. He does well with other dogs and is friendly with cats.

Ongoing Health

JR had surgeries to repair a perineal hernia on both sides and has fully recovered. He is neutered and vaccinated.
