Charlie

Charlie is a friendly, active, and affectionate 7-year-old neutered male Catahoula/BC mix. He was rescued from a local hoarding situation and has some emotional scars, but he is very deserving of a second chance. Charlie is wonderful with humans and gentle with children. He is also good with other dogs, though he can get bullied easily, so he needs to live with one or more calm, playful canine friends to help with his anxiety. Charlie is very well house-trained and loves adventures in the woods, both on and off leash.

Ideal Home

Charlie would prefer a rural setting with access to a fenced yard, ideally through a dog door. He needs calm, playful canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has some anxiety surrounding loud noises and thunder phobia. During these times, he can get quite clingy.

Training & Support

Charlie needs a patient and confident owner who can set boundaries and limits, especially during thunderstorms.
