Hank

Hank is about 9 years young and believed to be a Shepherd mix, weighing around 60 pounds. He's a true love bug who was unfortunately a cruelty case and arrived at the shelter emaciated. After about a year in the shelter, he's now in New York and ready for his forever home! Despite his tough past, Hank remains a happy and excited boy who loves to be with his people and greet new friends. He's been great with our resident cat and shows no signs of food or toy aggression. Hank enjoys walks and is still energetic, but he's also a mellow companion. He's very gentle with small children and would make an amazing addition to any family. Please don't let his age deter you; he deserves a wonderful home for his golden years!

Ideal Home

Hank would love a family to call his own. He's been great with small children and is respectful of cats. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but a slow and organized introduction is recommended to ensure everyone gets along.

Hank is a senior dog and deserves to be spoiled in his retirement years.

Training & Support

Hank has shown no food or toy aggression and is very respectful. He's a happy boy whose tail is always wagging.
