Meet Frodo, a handsome 2-year-old, 45 lb black tri Aussie with adorable copper freckles and a fluffy chest. Frodo is currently in our witness protection program after a difficult past where his previous living situation was not safe or properly cared for. He's a good boy who is eager to find a loving home where he can finally relax and be cherished. Frodo is neutered, crate-trained, and house-broken. He enjoys walks and runs but also loves to snuggle, and hopes to live somewhere he's allowed on the furniture to be close to his people. He's a quick learner and would thrive with mental stimulation and adventures. While he gets along with men, he can be a bit wary and takes time to warm up, likely due to his past experiences.
Ideal Home
Frodo would do best as the only dog in the home, as he's not happy in a multi-dog environment and prefers all the attention for himself! He's also not a good fit for homes with cats, as he can be quite annoying to them and tends to chase if they run. He would do well in a home with teenagers and older children. A securely fenced yard is likely not a requirement, but a strong recall is highly recommended before letting him off-lead.
