Meet Hachi!
Hachi is a resilient and loving 2-year-old, approximately 50lb mixed breed with a heart of gold. He spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel and was rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, Hachi is a complete love bug who cherishes the simple joys like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his people. He is wonderful with kids and eager to make friends with everyone he meets. Hachi is crate trained and potty trained, making him ready for a home of his own. He enjoys car rides and is a medium-energy dog, happy to go on adventures or snuggle up for a relaxing evening.
Ideal Home
Hachi is looking for a home where he is included, cherished, and loved. He would do best with slow introductions to other dogs, and tends to do well with confident canine companions.
Ongoing Health
Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. His ideal weight is closer to 60 lbs, and he'll need a loving family to help him reach his goal with plenty of good food and treats!
Training & Support
Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. While he generally does well with other dogs, he can sometimes try to assert dominance with more timid pups. Slow introductions and a confident canine friend will help him adjust well.
