Meet Flora!

Flora's story began on a rooftop in Jarretaderas, where she was found abandoned with two other dogs. Thankfully, a kind animal welfare officer helped us reach them, and she's been with us since June 2022. She's a beautiful, smart, and energetic girl, but she's not the right match for just anyone. Flora is a high-drive dog who thrives with structure, space, and an experienced owner who can provide guidance. She does well with most dogs but prefers to be the alpha. The busy shelter environment can overstimulate her, but she's a fantastic walking companion and incredibly intelligent. With the right training and a confident leader, she would truly flourish.

Ideal Home

Flora needs an experienced adopter who can provide her with structure and guidance. She requires a fenced yard or a large property and is not suited for apartment or condo living.

Ongoing Health

Flora is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flora is a high-drive dog who would benefit greatly from continued training and a confident leader. She is good on the leash.

Transporation

Flora is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters in the US and Canada are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport. During summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, Flora may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
