ChiChi has decided she is a lapdog. This decision is final, and she will not be revisiting it. She will climb onto you, wrap herself around you, and make direct, sustained eye contact with the energy of someone who has always lived there and frankly cannot believe it took you this long to show up.
She is high energy and genuinely playful – the kind of dog who is always ready to go, always up for something, and always the most enthusiastic participant in whatever is happening. And then, without missing a beat, she will clock out completely and distribute her entire body weight across your legs for a nap of indeterminate length. She is simply a complete dog.
ChiChi is crate trained with zero drama about it. She is treat motivated to a degree that is almost inspiring – she will do anything for a snack. She loves puzzle toys and needs them, because there is a genuinely smart brain operating inside that cuddly exterior and it requires something to work on. She is good with male dogs and has no cat experience, so a slow and thoughtful introduction would be the move if cats are part of the picture.
Ideal Home
ChiChi is not looking for anything complicated. She wants someone who gives good hugs, does not mind being followed from room to room by a dog who is simply very enthusiastic about their presence, and is equally open to an adventure in the yard and a two hour nap directly afterward.
Ongoing Health
ChiChi's adoption fee of $275 includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and a clean bill of health.
Training & Support
Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
