Kenai

Kenai is a precious 2-4 year old mixed breed who has been through so much but remains incredibly sweet and gentle. She was found as a stray dragging a chain and trap, and upon rescue, it was discovered she had suffered extensive injuries to her front leg, requiring amputation. Now, Kenai is safe with us and is already learning to navigate the world as a happy tripod! She is friendly, loving, smart, and gets along well with other dogs.

Kenai's front leg was amputated due to injuries from a trap. She is recovering well and adapting to life as a tripod.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will benefit from ongoing training and socialization to help her adjust to her new life and family.

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina. We transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
