Meet Violet! This sweet and loyal girl is about 1.5 years old and is ready to find her forever home. Violet was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, and despite a difficult start, she has emerged as a truly wonderful companion. She's a world-class cuddler, often seen with her tongue out, and will army crawl across any surface to be near you. Violet is fiercely loyal and absolutely loves playing tug-of-war with a hose. She's terrified of squeaky toys, but her love for her people more than makes up for it! Violet has been doing great at adoption events, meeting new people and dogs with surprising confidence.

Ideal Home

Violet would thrive in a home with an adopter who is willing to continue her training to help build her confidence. She would also love to have another dog friend, as she gains a lot of confidence from canine companions. While she is good with kids, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and fully vetted.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows the "sit" command and is making huge strides with place and crate training.
