Tommy is a sweet 3-year-old, 75-pound German Shepherd mix who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter. He was initially very shy and fearful, but with patient and gentle foster care, he has blossomed into a calm, loyal, and loving companion. Tommy enjoys lounging on the porch, stretching in the sunshine, and has a signature move where he lifts his face to sniff the breeze with a big, content smile. He finds comfort in his kennel, uses a doggy door, and loves his elevated bed.

Ideal Home

Tommy absolutely requires a home where trust can be built quietly, steadily, and on his timeline. He would likely thrive best with another confident, friendly dog who can help him feel braver and more secure.

Tommy has no known health conditions to be aware of.

Training & Support

Tommy will need a slow warm-up period to build trust. His foster family is committed to being an ongoing resource for his success and will gladly take him back if the adoption isn't the right fit.
