Meet Akira!
Akira is a 5.5-year-old spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs about 60lbs. She was rescued from a euthanasia list with mere minutes to spare and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for nearly nine months. This sweet girl has the most adorable puppy-dog eyes and is a true love bug who believes she's a tiny lap dog. She enjoys lounging on comfy dog beds, going for walks, and cuddling. Akira is fully crate-trained, knows her basic commands, and is very gentle when taking treats. She keeps herself entertained by chewing on bones or playing with her stuffed toys.
Ideal Home
Akira adores people and gets along well with calm, submissive dogs. While she enjoys the company of other pups, her ultimate dream is to be the sole focus of her human's attention. She would be content as the only dog in the home, showering her chosen person with unconditional love.
