Meet Remy!!!

Remy is a sweet 4-year-old red heeler mix who is the perfect companion for quiet evenings and peaceful mornings. He enjoys both indoor relaxation and outdoor adventures, and would absolutely love a doggy door so he can bask in the sunshine, watch the birds, and follow his favorite humans around the house and yard. Sadly, Remy became unwanted when he outgrew his puppy size. His previous family didn't provide the care he deserved, so we stepped in to ensure this wonderful boy gets the loving family he's always deserved.

Ideal Home

Remy might be a little shy initially, but he warms up quickly to new people. He's the ideal balance of laid-back and active - he loves to chill but needs regular exercise and activity to stay healthy. Remy recently lost his canine best friend to adoption and misses having a playmate, which has made him less active and a bit chunky. He would thrive with another dog companion and a family who can help him get back to his ideal weight through fun activities and adventures.

Remy is currently in Texas with a foster and will be transported out of state once adopted. Transport is not included in the adoption fee.
