Drax is an approximately 8-year-old, 70 lb American Cattle Dog mix who visually resembles an American Bully mix. He's been waiting far too long for his happily-ever-after and is currently our longest-running "Underdog." This handsome, big-hearted boy has an immense amount of love to give and greets everyone he meets with enthusiastic tail wags, slobbery kisses, and a giant signature smile. He has spent years watching other dogs get adopted and is more than ready for a couch to call his own and a family to love him as deeply as he loves them.
A True Gentleman in Public: Drax recently had a big day out at the park and Petco, and he was an absolute star. He walked beautifully on a leash, politely stepped aside for others on the trail, and handled himself perfectly in the store—even when another dog barked at him.
The Ultimate Co-Pilot: He rides perfectly in the car, making him the ideal companion for road trips, daily errands, or trips to local parks.
The 70 lb Lap Dog: Drax absolutely adores people and firmly believes that laps are meant for sitting, regardless of his size. He is happiest when he is right next to his humans.
Ideal Home
Drax wants to be your main focus, so he will do best as the only pet in the home where he can receive all of your affection. Because he is so devoted to his humans, he would thrive with a family that is home often.
