Meet Crypto!
Crypto is a sweet, affectionate little guy who, at first, can be a bit shy. Once he feels safe and trusts you, he's happiest when he's curled up next to his favorite person after a fun day of playing. He's a delightful mix of playful and cuddly, enjoying romps in the yard, chasing zoomies with his doggy pals, and a good wrestling match before settling in for some well-deserved snuggles. Crypto is fantastic with other dogs, both big and small, and has excellent manners around food and toys. He's not looking to be the boss and is happy to back off if another dog lets him know he's crossed a line; he's simply looking for friends!
Ideal Home
Crypto would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help build his confidence and share in backyard adventures. He'll need a family committed to using secure equipment, practicing safe door manners, and providing a yard with at least a 5-foot fence, as he can be startled outdoors and may try to slip out of his harness or dart through an open door. He may try to investigate anything interesting on chairs or tables, so keeping tempting items out of reach is important. Cats are currently unknown. Children are also unknown, though he'd likely do well with respectful kids who understand that trust takes time.

Training & Support
Crypto may try to mark during his first few days while settling in, so a belly band is recommended initially. Once adjusted and kept on a consistent potty routine, he does very well. He is crate trained, keeps his crate clean, sleeps there overnight, and is content when left home. He isn't much of a barker, though he may let out a few little whistles or whines before settling. Patience and kindness will be key as he continues to blossom and learn that the world isn't so scary.
