About Peppa
Meet Peppa, a 5-year-old, 69-pound sweetheart with the gentlest soul and the biggest heart. After being surrendered alongside two other dogs when their family moved and couldn't take them, Peppa found her way to Fetching Tails Foundation. Now she's thriving in foster care and patiently waiting for the forever family she deserves. Peppa is the definition of an easy companion. She's loving, gentle, attentive, affectionate, and happiest when she's simply close to her people. Whether you're working, relaxing on the couch, eating dinner, or even taking a shower, Peppa is content to quietly wait nearby, just happy to be with you. She's wonderfully behaved in the home, is fully potty trained, and has earned the freedom to roam the house both overnight and when left alone. Her days are simple and sweet. She starts with a potty break and breakfast, spends time playing with her favorite toys, enjoys plenty of relaxing, heads out for another potty break during the day, has dinner, a bedtime snack, and finishes with one last potty trip before settling in for the night. Watching Peppa happily entertain herself with toys is one of her foster family's favorite things—she gets so much joy out of a ball, rope toy, or just about anything she can play with. Peppa has moderate energy and would love a calm home where she can enjoy life's simple pleasures. While she enjoys her potty breaks outside, she's definitely an indoor girl at heart and would much rather spend her time relaxing with her family than hanging out in the yard. A securely fenced yard with a 6-foot fence would be ideal. She can be a little sensitive to loud airplanes overhead, which may be why she prefers the comfort of home. She gets along well with other dogs and previously lived with two canine companions. She's quiet, has very low shedding, rides beautifully in the car, knows sit, and even seems to know stay. If you're looking for a loyal, calm, affectionate best friend who asks for nothing more than to love you and be by your side, Peppa may be the perfect match. She's ready to leave her past behind and spend the rest of her life with a family that will never let her go.
