Bailey (sweet girl!)

Hi there! I'm Bailey, a sweet and playful 3-year-old Shepherd-Hound mix who's ready to find my forever family. My past was a little ruff, but I've blossomed into a loving and joyful girl with the help of my current family. I adore being outdoors, playing tug-of-war, and snuggling up with my people. While I can be a little shy around new men, I warm up quickly and offer tons of love and enthusiastic kisses once I trust you!

Ideal Home

I'd thrive in a home that understands and appreciates my quirks, offering plenty of verbal affection and positive reinforcement. A fenced yard or a secure outdoor space is a must, as I love to explore and can be a bit of a chewer! While I love kids, gentle play and respect are key. I might do well with another young, playful dog if introduced properly, but I'm unsure about cats.

Ongoing Health

I'm a healthy girl with no known medical issues and all my vaccinations are up to date! Just a heads-up, I get a little excited at vet visits, so holding on tight is a good idea!

Training & Support

I'm still working on leash manners and can get a bit "wild child" when things get too exciting. Positive reinforcement training, especially with a no-pull harness, will help me immensely. I can get anxious when left alone, and sometimes need a quiet space to decompress. I'm housebroken, though I might need a crate for a few nights after a stay at a boarding kennel.
