Anya

Anya is a three-year-old, approximately 45-pound Terrier/Lab mix with a big heart and a playful spirit. She loves to be close to her people, preferably with physical contact and pets. Anya is wonderfully potty trained, crate-trained, and has excellent house manners, easily settling into a home environment. She thrives on attention and connection, happily joining you on the couch, moving between rooms, or simply sharing your space. Anya is affectionate without being demanding and has a steady, loving energy that makes her a joy to have around. She is also dog-friendly and adapts her energy to match other dogs, being calm with calmer companions and more playful with those who want to engage. However, she doesn't require dog friends and would be perfectly content as an only pet. Anya enjoys outdoor fun, with the water hose being a particular favorite, and is more go-with-the-flow than high-energy, equally happy lounging or playing. She previously raised eleven puppies at a Texas shelter, so her mothering duties are complete, and now it's her turn to be spoiled. Anya is spayed, fully vetted, and ready for a home that appreciates a loving and steady companion with a delightful personality.

Ideal Home

Anya would thrive in a home that appreciates an affectionate and steady companion. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families.

Transporation

Anya is currently being fostered in Ontario and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
