Prayer is a young male dog with a heart full of love and a personality full of funny quirks. He's incredibly friendly, eager to make new friends with both humans and other dogs. Prayer is an affectionate and loyal companion who will shower you with kisses and is always up for a game of fetch. He's an energetic and hilarious goofball who loves to play and explore, but also enjoys lounging on the couch. Prayer is a true entertainer who will keep you laughing with his silly antics and many facial expressions. He's pee pad trained indoors and will signal when he needs to go outside. He was also a breeze to crate train and is great with dogs, cats, and children, often nuzzling and licking the cats. Prayer loves car rides and is definitely more of an indoor dog, as he will run off if left outside unattended. He does enjoy supervised outdoor time with other dogs, especially playing tug-of-war and in a water pool. He loves to rest his head on you and give you "puppy dog eyes" for face rubs. Prayer was rescued on March 2, 2023, after being abandoned in his home in Missouri City, Texas. A kind neighbor looked after him and initially named him "Red" because he didn't respond to it, but she also named him "Prayer" as she was praying someone would come for him. We honored her by officially changing his name to Prayer, which he responds to immediately. He truly lights up when he hears the kind lady's voice from a video. Prayer has thrived with us and deserves an amazing life.
