Sadie is a loyal and playful almost three-year-old Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix whose expressive eyes and joyful zoomies are just the beginning of her charm. Wrapped in a gorgeous gray and tan coat, Sadie is a spirited adventurer at heart! An ideal sidekick for anyone who loves walks, hikes, and of course, fetch (her all-time favorite game!). This athletic girl is not just all energy and fun, she’s also a gentle soul who forms deep bonds with her humans once she’s had a proper introduction. Sadie takes stranger introductions seriously, but once you're in her circle, get ready for a loyal companion who greets you with a wagging tail and her signature grin! Smart, responsive, and eager to please, Sadie knows basic commands like “sit,” walks like a pro on leash, and is always up for new adventures with her trusted humans. While she may need a little patience when meeting new people, tossing her a toy or offering a treat is the perfect way to win her over!
Ideal Home
Sadie thrives on a structured routine and needs to be the only pet in her next home. She has been involved in altercations with other dogs when introductions were rushed or not managed carefully and can be unsure around highly playful or reactive dogs. She’s still learning the art of dog play, but she’s not reactive on leash or through fences. Sadie has done wonderfully around children ages 3 to 9 in a former foster setting and her heart is wide open to her people, especially women.
