Rita is a 7-year-old, spayed female Staffordshire mix who weighs 58 lbs. She's an absolute sweetheart, best described as an affectionate cuddle bug with moderate energy. Rita is happy to have doggy siblings or to be your one and only, as she'll adore all the loving attention you can give her. She's been respectful and playful with other medium to large-sized dogs in playgroups, enjoying both playtime and snuggle time. Rita's ideal day involves lots of rubs, quality time, and playing with her toys and family. She also enjoys car rides and would love to go on adventures! She is already crate-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained. Rita was found after being left in an overcrowded shelter and is now looking for her forever home. She is outgoing, can be a tad shy at first, but is truly a playful and silly pup.

Rita would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of cuddles and playtime. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she would also be happy as the sole canine companion. Rita has not had the chance to meet children or cats while in our care.
