Miss Daisy, also known as Daisy Dukes or Dukes, is a spunky senior Rat Terrier weighing 14 lbs, looking for her forever home. She has lots of life and love left to give, and would be a perfect fit for someone who is retired but still active, or someone who works from home. Daisy enjoys daily walks and would love a companion to join them, and would be even happier if she could be a lap dog, showered with all the attention. She loves people and car rides, so if you like to go camping or travel around in an RV, she'd be a great companion for you.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in a home where she can receive all the attention and doesn't have to share it with other pets. She would be best as an only dog and it's best she doesn't live with cats, although she can be around them safely for short visits.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is a senior dog, but you wouldn't know it by the way she acts! She has had a senior blood panel (she looks great!), a dental cleaning, and she is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Daisy is crate trained, but she doesn't love it. She is fine being left loose in the home when no one is there, but she is currently crated in her foster home as she can be a little bossy with other dogs at times.
