Summer Smiles is a 4-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing in at a petite 45 lbs. She's a social butterfly with an incredibly friendly and goofy personality that's sure to brighten your day. Summer loves everyone she meets and forms connections instantly. She's a go-with-the-flow girl who is happy wherever she is, making her an absolute joy to be around.

Ideal Home

Summer would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can zoom, play, and sunbathe, but she can also do well in an apartment or condo. She loves being part of the action and would be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys hosting. She is also great with children and has a special connection with them.

Ongoing Health

Summer is a rescue and, as with any rescue, her exact breed and age are a mystery. She is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, and flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Summer is a smart girl who loves treats and is eager to please! She already knows how to sit on command, walks well on a leash, and is crate and potty trained. She's ready for adventures like hikes, park visits, or beach trips!

Transporation

Summer is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport to Canada requires pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs.
