Tessa

Meet Tessa, a loving 8-year-old mixed-breed dog who weighs about 60 pounds and is looking for her forever home. She previously lived with her owner and siblings before they were surrendered when their owner moved to assisted living.

Tessa may be timid when meeting new people, especially men, but treats and gentle pets quickly win her over. She loves affection, follows her person around the house, and is learning to feel braver when she cannot find them. She enjoys walks, naps, and watching the neighborhood from the front door.

Tessa would do well with a patient family who can give her time to warm up, especially around men. She is reported to do well with other dogs.
