Gabby is what we like to call an "old soul." She's quiet, sweet, and happiest when she's close to her people. Whether she's trotting around the backyard, enjoying a leisurely walk, or stretching out in a cool spot outside, she's content simply being part of the family.
At about 52 pounds, Gabby is the perfect medium-sized companion. She walks beautifully on leash (no pulling here! ), gets along well with other dogs, and has been wonderful with her foster home's resident cat.
One of Gabby's most endearing qualities is how incredibly gentle she is. Give her a treat and she'll take it ever so carefully, as if it's made of glass. She also absolutely melts for chin scratches, head rubs, and neck scritches.
Gabby would love a calm, quieter home where she can settle into a comfortable routine. A retired couple, someone who works from home, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend would be lucky to have her. A fenced yard would be a big bonus, as she enjoys spending time outdoors.
She's not demanding, doesn't suffer from separation anxiety, and is generally very easy to have around. The only thing she isn't a fan of? Thunderstorms! During storms, she likes to find a cozy, safe space to wait things out.
Gabby doesn't need another dog in the home, but she'd likely enjoy having a calm canine sister to keep her company.
