Morty Mello is a cuddly, 6-year-old, 75 lb pittie mix with a heart as big as his head. He's the definition of a gentle giant, preferring to relax and soak up the sunshine rather than engage in rowdy play. Morty is happy to observe other dogs with a calm demeanor, making him a low-key companion. He's friendly with other dogs, especially those of similar size and temperament who also enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. If you don't have another dog, that's perfectly fine too, as Morty is content with human companionship. He would do best in a home without cats. Morty would love a backyard for sunbathing and exploring smells, but he'd also be happy in an apartment, as he's quiet in his crate and walks beautifully on a leash. He's house-trained and makes an excellent work-from-home buddy or a cozy movie marathon date. Morty is looking for a simple life filled with love, naps, and a family to call his own.

- The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
