Mondo

Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old, 50-55lb Australian Shepherd mix with a striking charcoal grey coat and white accents. Don't let his age fool you; he's an active and playful boy who loves to have fun! He's up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Mondo is a happy and food-motivated dog who enjoys being chased around the yard. He's also a smart and agile learner, eager to pick up new commands. He rides well in the car and enjoys relaxing on the couch for cuddles and movies after a good play session.

Ideal Home

Mondo needs an active home where he can get regular exercise through walks, hikes, or camping. He is NOT an apartment dog or yard art. He would do well as an only dog or with a medium to large breed canine companion, male or female. He can also be part of a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he is included in daily activities. No tie-outs or electric fences will be permitted.

Ongoing Health

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo is potty trained and crate trained. He knows basic commands but is not yet off-leash trained. While he had some issues with fence climbing at a previous shelter, this has not been a problem in his foster home where he receives regular exercise. He needs a home committed to providing him with ample opportunities to run and play.
