Kim is a handsome and spirited one-year-old, approximately 32-pound mix of Border Collie and Labrador. He's a joyful and sweet boy who loves to play and is always ready for an adventure. Kim was found abandoned at the shelter's door and, after a brave battle with parvo, he has fully recovered. He is a smart pup who would thrive with training to reach his full potential. Kim enjoys the company of other dogs and is also cat-friendly. He's already leash, crate, and car ride trained, making him a well-rounded companion.
Ideal Home
Kim would do best in an active home that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family who understands the nuances of rescuing a street animal and is prepared to offer patience and education. A home with a fenced backyard is required.
Ongoing Health
Kim has fully recovered from parvo. His health protocol includes a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and rabies vaccinations, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He also has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Kim is not fully house-trained, which is common for rescued animals. He will require patience and understanding as he settles into a new home. His intelligence makes him an excellent candidate for further training.
