Evangeline is a sweet, soulful lady with a gentle spirit. This 10-year-old, 70-pound German Shepherd mix is all about the comforts in life. Think cozy beds, head scritches, and relaxing by a space heater. She’s a mellow companion who prefers low energy days and peaceful company. Evangeline is currently in a foster home, not at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

As a senior, Evangeline does have some age-related medical needs. She moves slowly and carefully, but her sweet nature shines through. She’s had recent abdominal surgery to remove pieces of fabric that were found in her stomach, and would do best in a home that understands her need for supervision around non-food items.
