Maddie is a sweet, three-year-old Australian Heeler girl who came into rescue as a puppy to escape a life-threatening situation. Her foster mom affectionately calls her "Chatty Maddie" because she's a sassy little girl who will do anything to get attention. Maddie is very inquisitive, affectionate, and minds well. She is treat-motivated and shows no aggression. She's housebroken and great with other dogs, while remaining indifferent to cats. Maddie enjoys sleeping in the bed and loves to sunbathe. She's looking for an active family to include her in all their adventures. Weighing about 43 pounds, Maddie is healthy and loves playing outside, especially with other dogs. She can be quite a clown, but also has a soft side for cuddling by the fireplace. Maddie enjoys children and walks, making her a pretty much turnkey dog.
