Princesa

Princesa is a sweet and loving 12-year-old Shih Tzu/Mini Poodle mix! She is a mellow girl who is very friendly with people, though she seems to prefer women. She loves to snuggle on the couch with her person and enjoys following you around. Walks are another favorite activity for this sweetheart!

Princesa is house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks well on a leash, and rides nicely in the car. While she gets along with other dogs during playdates and at dog parks, she would prefer to have her person all to herself when it comes to other dogs in the household.

Ideal Home

Princesa would do best in a home where she can be the sole canine companion, receiving all the love and attention from her person. She's not the best fit for homes with children.

Ongoing Health

Princesa has a few health considerations:

• She has a grade 3 of 6 heart murmur and requires daily medication.
• A cancerous mass was removed over two years ago. It was a local type that rarely spreads, and all of it was removed. She has been clear of this issue since.
• She experiences chronic ear infections and skin irritation on her paws.
• She had a sensitivity to tartar on her teeth, which has been resolved with a recent dental cleaning. A full mouth extraction is being considered.

Training & Support

Princesa is already house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and walks well on a leash. Her main support needs involve managing her ongoing health conditions.
