Janice

Janice is a beautiful female Boxer mix, an adult who is medium-sized with a short coat. She was rescued from a backyard breeder situation where she lived on a heavy chain with only a barrel for shelter. Janice has been with us for a couple of months and has gradually become more comfortable with our staff. She has transformed from being scared stiff to bouncy and playful as soon as she sees us in the mornings, and now she is even letting us pet her!

Ideal Home

Janice is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who can provide her with the slow and steady time and attention she needs to continue to build her confidence. She needs to be shown what a kind and comfortable home is. She would be perfect for a single individual or a home that can provide a quiet setting. We have not had her with any children, so her interaction with kids is unknown. She has not been tested with cats.

Ongoing Health

Janice is up to date on vaccinations. She is not spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Janice is not yet house-trained. She will need continued patience and guidance as she learns what a comfortable home is.
