Trooper

Meet Trooper! This sweet 2-and-a-half-year-old, 60-pound pup is the definition of a loyal companion. Trooper will be your shadow, happily curling up nearby while you relax or work. He’s incredibly smart, fully house-trained, and knows commands like "stay," "come," "lay down," and "quiet." Trooper walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys peaceful car rides, and is happiest when he's by your side. He has a gentle heart and thrives with kindness, encouragement, and consistency. Trooper isn't a loud or demanding dog; he simply wants to feel safe and loved. He enjoys cozy naps, watching the world from the patio, and gentle playtime. Because Trooper can experience some separation anxiety, he’ll do best in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods. He’s done well with other dogs, ignores barking dogs on walks, and his protective instincts are easily redirected due to his excellent listening skills. Trooper is neutered, vaccinated, house-trained, and ready to shower his forever family with love and devotion.

Transporation

Trooper is currently located at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. He can be brought to you via rescue transport, which travels through your area once a month. The adoption fee is $395, plus $30 for a health certificate and $260 for transport. Transport involves dogs being carefully moved via scheduled, air-conditioned/heated vans from our ranch to a location near you, with updates provided throughout the journey.
