Meet Castiel! This spunky, year-old pup is a likely mix of wire-hair terrier and chihuahua. He's a joy to be around, with a unique look that's sure to turn heads. Castiel has a moderate to low shedding coat and a playful spirit, always ready for a game. He loves to engage and is particularly fond of toys. He was rescued from an area with high euthanasia rates, so choosing Castiel means saving a life and making space for another animal in need.
Ideal Home
Castiel is a social butterfly who enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown no interest in cats. He's also great with children, having happily interacted with kids aged 4 and 7. A family that can provide him with continued training, socialization, and the dedication puppyhood requires would be ideal. He loves to play and then snuggle, making him a great companion for an active household.
Ongoing Health
Castiel is hearing impaired but this doesn't slow him down one bit! He is otherwise a healthy boy.
Training & Support
As a young pup, Castiel will benefit from continued training, particularly with potty and crate training. He's a people-pleaser and learns quickly, so consistent positive reinforcement will go a long way. He enjoys initiating play and will need continued socialization as he grows.

Transportation
Castiel is currently fostered in Portland, OR. He can be transported to NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and the East Coast.
