Rocky is a 6-year-old, 90-pound male Pit Bull Terrier mix who is neutered and vaccinated. He was rescued from Houston, Texas, after being found abandoned, hungry, and neglected. Despite his rough start, Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and low-energy dog with an easy-going and good-behaved nature. He enjoys leisurely walks on a leash, is crate-trained, and house-trained. Rocky loves to spend time indoors and is well-behaved. However, due to his past experiences, he can be protective of his food and should have his own bowl and food. He is accustomed to large dogs, especially females, and gets along well with cats. Rocky enjoys resting but would benefit from more activity and longer walks, which his current caregiver doesn't have time for. He is looking for a loving best friend who will provide him with the walks he desires and companionship.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can receive consistent exercise and attention. Due to his past, he needs his own food bowl and should not have his food resources challenged. He gets along well with large dogs, particularly females, and is good with cats.
