Teddy Roo is the sweetest, most handsome, and devoted companion you'll ever meet! He's a Staffordshire Terrier mix, estimated to be born on November 1st, 2023, and currently weighs 53 lbs. If you're dreaming of a full-grown teddy bear and a forever snuggle buddy, Teddy Roo is your guy! He absolutely adores cuddles and kisses, and his ideal spot is right in your lap. If a lap isn't available, he'll softly try to hug you! He's known at the rescue for his gentle spirit and those sweet, pleading puppy eyes. Teddy Roo has been a hit at adoption events, soaking up the attention and soliciting hugs and kisses from everyone. His signature move is holding up a paw while asking for pets – it's truly heart-melting! He's been very gentle and patient with children he's met at events. Teddy Roo was rescued from the county shelter, where he was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being happy, healthy, and full of life. He arrived with scars and wounds, a testament to a life that hasn't always been kind. Yet, despite his past, he remains incredibly soft, lovable, and a true survivor.

Teddy Roo is kennel and potty trained. He is also dog and kid-friendly. We offer adopters 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation
Teddy Roo is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be coordinated to various locations, including nearby towns or states. We work with ground transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track your dog's transport using the Life360 app and will receive updates. You may also be invited to a Facebook chat group for transport updates.
