About Tuxie

Proof You Can Be Handsome and Humble

Tuxie is a distinguished 1-year-old, 50 lb mixed breed boy who was rescued from the streets of Houston and has since embraced foster life with open paws and a wagging tail. He's a social butterfly, instantly befriending every dog he meets, including his two foster siblings, a golden retriever and a pit bull, who think he's the best roommate ever. Tuxie is intelligent, eager to please, and a quick learner, mastering commands like "sit" and "fetch" and is working on his leash manners. He has a prey drive that says "no thanks" to small animals and cats, making him a safe bet around them. Tuxie is happiest with a canine companion and humans who appreciate a good balance of playtime and quiet cuddles. He is fully potty-trained, rarely barks, and offers a lifetime of loyalty in exchange for belly rubs. If you're searching for a sweet, devoted, and lighthearted companion, Tuxie might be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

Tuxie would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and humans who enjoy both playtime and peaceful moments. He is not recommended for homes with children under 10 years old.
