RYE GS

Rye is a sweet 16-month-old pup who is ready to find her forever home. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter and has made incredible progress since arriving in her foster home. Initially, Rye was quite fearful of people, but with the help of other dogs in her foster home, she's learning to trust and has begun to see that not all humans are scary. She's a sensitive soul who takes her time to warm up, and she's not one for immediate cuddles. Rye prefers to show affection on her own terms, and she needs a patient and understanding adopter to help her feel truly safe. Once she forms a bond, it's a quiet, loyal, and incredibly special connection.

Ideal Home

Rye would do best in a home with at least one other friendly, confident dog who can continue to be her guide. She can also do well with children, provided they understand the importance of giving her space and respecting her pace.

Rye is available from Texas. The adoption fee of $550 includes transportation costs.
