Mars

Meet Mars! This sweet boy was found abandoned near a gas station, but his story has a happy new chapter beginning now. Mars is about 2 years old and weighs around 45-50 lbs. He's a playful and affectionate pup who is learning to trust and enjoy life again. Mars adores everyone he meets and has a special fondness for energetic dogs to romp and play with. With gentle guidance, he could also share his home with feline friends. He'd be happiest in a home with older children who won't be accidentally knocked over by his exuberance. His recall is fantastic, making him a great candidate for an active family.

Ideal Home

Mars would thrive in an active household. He would do well with older children.

Ongoing Health

Mars is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the remainder of his treatment. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mars is currently boarding with a dog trainer and is making great progress in learning to be a dog again. He is not yet house-trained.
