Meet Henry! This 6-year-old, 38lb Catahoula mix is a sweetheart looking for his forever family. Henry is past his puppy days and is ready to settle into a loving home. He enjoys a comfy bed, toys to play with, and plenty of cuddles. Henry's gentle nature and sweet disposition make him a wonderful companion. He even has a charming bow-legged gait that just adds to his appeal!

Ideal Home

Henry would love a home with another dog to be his canine sibling, as he enjoys the company of other pups. He's done well with dogs of all sizes and greets them with a smile and a wagging tail. He has also met a 9-year-old human and did great, so he'd likely do well with older children.

Ongoing Health

Henry is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Henry is already crate and potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. He can be a little sensitive to loud noises like thunderstorms and would appreciate a safe space during those times. He has not destroyed anything other than his toys in his foster home.

Transporation

Henry is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be on the next available transport after approval.
