Apollo is a handsome 1.5-year-old white and black Hound/Pit Bull mix weighing 55 pounds. He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations, so he's ready to find his forever family! Apollo is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly. He has medium to high energy and loves to play, but he's just as happy curling up in your lap for pets and affection. When he's excited, his whole body wiggles—especially that adorable wiggly butt! Toys are one of Apollo's favorite things. He loves every toy he can get his paws on and proudly carries them around before hiding them in his crate. Tug-of-war is his favorite game, especially if you let him win once in a while! He also absolutely loves splashing and playing in the water. Apollo is a smart boy who already knows sit, down, leave it, and come. He's house-trained and crate-trained and settles in nicely at bedtime, especially after his favorite nightly treat. At night, he loves sleeping as close to his people as possible and sleeps soundly through the night. This happy, affectionate boy has never met a stranger. He loves everyone he meets and is always eager for attention. Apollo would do well in a home with children and enjoys the company of other dogs. Since he's highly treat-motivated, he's fun to train and loves learning when snacks are involved. Training & Support
Apollo is house-trained and crate-trained. He knows sit, down, leave it, and come. He is still working on his leash manners and can pull during walks, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to improve. He is highly treat-motivated, making him fun to train.
