Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix with an estimated DOB of January 2026. He currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He's the biggest pup in his litter, but also the most introverted and thoughtful. While his siblings are busy, Bullseye quietly observes until it's time for cuddles or playtime. He loves dinnertime, belly rubs, scratches, and snuggling up with his people. He is gentle, calm, and has a soft heart, making him a loyal companion with an easygoing personality. He enjoys playing and wrestling with his siblings and other dogs. He has been raised with his mom and littermates and has done well around children. Bullseye is crate-trained and is working on leash walking and basic obedience.
Ideal Home
Bullseye thrives in a home that can provide ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice. We prefer homes with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help mentor and guide him, as he benefits from learning appropriate play, communication, and boundaries from a canine role model. If you do not have another dog, please share your plan for continued socialization. Homes should also be prepared for someone to not be routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time, as he will continue to benefit from regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training, and human interaction.

Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained, though a few accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. He is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs is crucial for his development. Structured training classes, supervised daycare, and regular playdates with trusted dogs are encouraged.

Transporation
Bullseye is currently located in Houston, Texas. He can be transported to an approved adopter arranged by the rescue. Transports run every few weeks.
