About Asher

Meet Asher!

This handsome young boy was found wandering alone, far too thin and hungry. While others passed him by, one kind person saw his soulful brown eyes and knew he deserved a chance. Now safe in a loving foster home, Asher, a 51 lb Labrador/Plott Hound mix, is learning what it means to be safe and loved. His sleek black coat is accented with beautiful brindle markings, and his amber eyes hint at the resilience of his past. Initially a bit shy, Asher quickly blossoms into a complete love bug once he feels secure. He enjoys curling up with his people, leaning in for affection, and soaking up kindness. He's even shown gentleness around children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and his foster's kitten, proving his sweet and respectful nature. Asher is simply looking for someone to show him that love is permanent. He needs to gain a few pounds, but more importantly, he needs someone to make him feel like he truly belongs.

Ideal Home
