Duo

Duo is a sweet 9-year-old female Beagle who is looking for a loving retirement home. For the first nine years of her life, Duo lived in a biomedical breeding and research facility, never knowing the comfort of a family or the joy of being loved. Today, her favorite thing in the world is human affection. Watching her discover cuddles, gentle pets, and simply being close to her people is both beautiful and heartbreaking. She is great with other dogs and all humans!

Ideal Home

Duo is looking for a quiet retirement home where someone is home most of the time. After years without companionship, all she wants is a cozy couch, a few leisurely strolls around the yard, and a person to love. She is looking for a home in the Atlanta area with a securely fenced yard and at least one friendly resident dog to help show her the ropes.

Ongoing Health

Duo is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Duo has made tremendous progress learning how to be a house dog. She is potty trained when taken outside on a regular schedule and will use pee pads if needed. Because she's still gaining confidence, she would benefit from a home that can continue to support her journey.
