Chestnut is a one-year-old, female, mixed-breed dog who has grown up with us at the shelter. She's a higher-energy girl, full of fun, playful puppy spirit, and always ready for the next adventure. Chestnut already knows some basic commands and is eager to keep learning, especially if it means spending more time with her people. In her previous home, she was the ultimate cuddlebug—sweet, affectionate, and loved by everyone she met. She’s been described as friendly, independent, clingy, playful, affectionate, and polite—a wonderful mix of personality traits that make her both fun and loving. Chestnut is ready to bring her energy, sweetness, and big heart into a home that will love her just as much as she loves them.
