Meet Hachi!
Hachi is an approximately 2-year-old, 50 lb bundle of love with a heart of gold. He spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite his past, Hachi is incredibly resilient and has a gentle spirit, always eager to greet the world with a wagging tail. He absolutely adores people and is wonderful with children, making him a true "people person." He's also learning to navigate doggy friendships, preferring confident canine companions for introductions.
Ideal Home
Hachi is looking for a loving home where he can be included and cherished. He dreams of experiencing the simple joys of life, like belly rubs, a cozy bed, and quality time with his family. He's a medium-energy dog who enjoys adventures but is equally happy to relax by your side.
Ongoing Health
Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. He is expected to reach an ideal weight closer to 60 lbs.
Training & Support
Hachi is crate trained and potty trained, making him ready to settle into a home environment. While he generally does well with other dogs after slow introductions, he can sometimes act like a "big tough guy" with more timid dogs. He thrives with confident canine pals.
