Meet Gorgeous Atlas!
This sweet boy was born to his stray mama on November 14, 2024, in a challenging neighborhood in Texas. Residents of the street did their best to care for Atlas and his siblings, and when they could no longer do so, we were able to bring them into our care. Atlas and his brother Grayson are the last of over 40 puppies and adult dogs rescued from this location to find their forever homes. They are beautiful, super smart, affectionate, happy, and healthy boys.
Atlas and his brother have spent the past several months in a foster home. They enjoy running around in the yard, playing with their toys, basking in the sun and in front of the fireplace, and snuggling with their foster mama. Atlas is incredibly smart and extremely food-motivated, which will make any training a breeze! He is curious and very goofy, gentle, playful, and a truly sweet boy. Atlas is 100% house-trained, weighs about 65 lbs, knows basic commands, and sleeps through the night. He will make a wonderful addition to any family. In a perfect world, he would be adopted with his brother Grayson, though this is not a requirement. We are confident he will bond with another dog in his new home with a slow introduction and will definitely bond with his new humans! He has loved his foster siblings, a 100lb Lab, a 30lb Beagle mix, and a 70lb Pittie, showing a submissive and playful demeanor towards all of them. While breed is always a guess in rescue, Atlas is undeniably adorable!
Ideal Home
Atlas would thrive in a home where he can continue to play and receive affection. He has shown to be very social and enjoys the company of other dogs, so a home with a resident dog would be a plus, but not required.
Ongoing Health
Atlas is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has received flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Atlas is 100% house-trained, knows basic commands, and is eager to please, especially with food motivation. His intelligence and desire to learn will make training straightforward.
